Why We Gather: Supporting Kevin Graney & Future Generations

This year, the Kevin Tonero Memorial Fund is dedicated to supporting Kevin Graney, a lifelong Denville resident, husband, father, and owner of Graney Electric. In January 2024, Kevin was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic bladder cancer. This isn't his first battle with cancer, and this current fight involves major surgeries, hospital stays, extensive rehabilitation, and ongoing medical care.

Kevin has always been a pillar in the Denville community – helping neighbors, supporting local causes, and contributing to our town. Now, it's our turn to show Kevin and his family that they aren't alone. Your participation helps ease the financial burden during this incredibly challenging time, all while honoring the memory of Kevin Tonero.

Additionally, the fund continues its commitment to education by awarding a $3,000 scholarship to a Morris Knolls High School graduate pursuing an alternative career or education path. Inspired by Kevin Tonero's own journey from working at his father's auto body shop to a successful career in automotive sales without a traditional college degree, this scholarship encourages students exploring trade school, technical school, vocational training, military enlistment, or apprenticeships. It's a testament to the many paths that lead to success and fulfillment.
